Could this be part of the walkway I highlighted in red

I was thinking that as well, would make more sense having the ride entrance in Crossroads rather than at the old WWF entrance area in terms of ride spacing.

Thanks for letting us know! :) I just think no matter what it is, it'll definitely be one of the best coasters in the park. I'm hoping it's a standard launch so then it'll be seen (and be) as more of a thrill coaster. Depending on the REAL layout (not saying Screamscape is wrong) of the coaster, I think this could potentially be better than Afterburn and maybe Intimidator, it depends though. I'm hoping it'll be a very intense ride. Something like Maverick or I-305. I hope it's not a ride with like 7 inversions or some big number. I just think inversions could take away from the goal of the ride. This is all hopes though, with some reality, but it's not like I actually know anything. Hey, it might not even be Mack and Screamscape was just wrong, the "trick" or "trigger" information was leaked. I'm not saying it is wrong though because again, What do I know?

This is Mack we're talking about, I doubt it'll be anywhere near the intensity of Maverick or Intimidator305. I still think a spinning coaster would be way more thrilling/exciting than a standard one. Imagine going through that JoJo roll while spinning!

I think it's almost clear they will be using the WWF entry as the entrance. If that's the waterpark bathroom In the blueprints then it's almost a given.

So if indeed that will be the entrance I'm finding it difficult to see a reason why the entire old county fair area gets redone.

Yes it needs it but is it warented if the new ride won't even bring people to that area.

I'm guessing you've never been on the International Mack's? Hell, I haven't either but everything I hear about them says they are pretty intense.

I'm sure they are going with the standard trains. I really don't see how a snake would be spinning while moving (like we are on the snakes back) But anyway, it looks like they are trying to go with 4 car trains instead of 5 cars to save a little money.

The fact that it has four cars has me sold on the spinning coaster theory. Wasn't too crazy about the idea initially but after seeing the praise that Time Traveler has gotten, I wouldn't mind getting one at all. There's always the possibility that it's a standard launch with four cars instead of five, but I can't imagine Cedar Fair would spend all that money on a new coaster just to skimp out on something that would improve the capacity.

Either way, this will be incredible. I really think it has the potential to be better than Afterburn and become the 2nd best coaster in the park.

Two of Mack’s spinning coasters are themed to snakes: Sierra Sidewinder, and more recently, Cobra’s Curse. Cars don’t need to look like snakes for it to be snake-themed.

Nope, I have not been on the international ones, but I do have friends who have... From what I've heard they're intense, but not i305 or Maverick intense lol.

Macks aren't cheap either, Time Traveler was $26M, and Manta (although Sea World never gave the exact amount) is said to have cost anywhere between $30M - $50M (http://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/bus ... story.html).

Cedar Fair isn't going to install a $20+ M Coaster and skimp on things, Cedar Fair doesn't deliver mediocre, so whatever this ends up being, they've gone all out on it.

I feel like Time Traveler’s cost was impacted by the terrain they had to work with. If I had to guess, our project will be in the $20-$25 million range.

Macks are expensive but you get what you pay for. Mack is among the most reliable companies in the industry along with B&M, they aren’t going to skimp on engineering.

I'm just saying there's a possibility of us getting something I want. What's wrong with my opinion?
