I just thought of something.

The Sprint All Star Race is in Charlotte (well, Concord) on Sat, May 22, 2010. Also, the Coca Cola 600 (and the events surrounding it) are May 28 - May 31, 2010.

Any chance the opening of the ride happens on one of those two days?

I assure you that the opening day for the ride will be the same as opening day for the park. (Barring some sort of amazing complication of course)

Somehow two very different threads have started to talk about the exact same thing, so the only logical thing is to consolidate to minimize confusion.
