Just realized that two days ago marked five years since I joined the forum, can't believe it's already been that long. Can't imagine how the original members from 2003 feel, lol.

I don't remember when I joined this site (I browsed for many years before I officially did), but I always feel weird when I think about how long I've been an enthusiast. For me, I was really scared of roller coasters until I was 12 (actually maybe 11?), when I suddenly got intensely interested in coasters. I still think of this as happening only a few years ago, but in reality, it's been almost half of my life

Is Six Flags St Louis flooded right now? I have a facebook friend who lives in Eureka and it's bad there! I haven't seen anything specific about Six Flags, though.

EDIT: After looking at a map, it looks to be far from the river. There's probably not much, if any, damage.

^I'll actually be visiting SFSTL with Sean next month. Hate to be that guy, but anyone got advice for the park? We'll be there for 7 and a half hours on a Tuesday and I'd like to get all the credits and a few flats.

I went on a Saturday in late July/early August for something like 7 hours (I had no other option due to the constraints of my job) and I got I think all but 2 credits (smaller ones) and that's partly because we chose to re-ride one instead of getting another credit, + some flats. I cant think of any specific advice I'd give, but just reiterating that you definitely won't have to worry about getting the rides done on time, so you can focus on having fun!

Sounds good! :D We would stay longer but we plan on being as touristy as possible and making the drive to the Gateway Arch.

Anyone who read Sean and I's massive trip report from last summer can expect another next month.

Inside the parks, yes. To them, no. I typically go with family who visit tourist attractions near the parks. While I do have a license, I'm still underage. Sean and I are planning and saving up for a major road trip in 2019 when we are both of legal age and can travel on our own.

This summer we're visiting (in order)

Dollywood
Kentucky Kingdom
Holiday World
Six Flags St Louis
Worlds of Fun
Silver Dollar City

That looks phenomenal, but unfortunately it closes at 5 PM on the day we'll be in the city. We won't be leaving the park until 6:00 :( I am quite excited for the arch though, I believe our tram leaves at 7:20, or somewhere around there.
