So how do they enforce someone being banned from the park. Obviously they can deactivate a season pass but what if you have a regular ticket and pay cash for everything?

Security takes your name and picture, admissions has the list. Plus if you do make it pass admissions and security catches you will be detained until the local sheriff picks you up and takes you to jail.

Season passes would be the obvious way. However, if you paid cash (or had someone else purchase a hard ticket for you) and maintained a low profile as you visited the park, I seriously doubt you'd be confronted. There would have to be many pictures on that security list and with all of the water rides and sweaty looks of the patrons, unless you had some kind of really distinct feature, you'd walk under the radar.

That said... I would avoid any ride where the guy you shoved aside is working.

For the five years I was banned, it was never worth the risk of getting caught(2006-2011). I have passed the head of security many times since 2011, she still recognizes my face and my name and there is nothing really that stands out about me.

I hope by telling this story that no one else puts themselve through this.

I was banned because of a vaguely written poem, the poem was written for my girlfriend(married her in later in 2006). Her mother(worked at Carowinds Lost&Found/Kennel) read the poem, sent to to Carowinds' Head of Security, the poem contained a line that read "A day is coming...." and that line was misinterpreted as a threat. Human Resources Manager called me, we talked about it and decided that I could still visit the park. Scott Anderson was questioned by Security about me, he told them that I would never do anything to hurt Carowinds. I went to pickup my girlfriend(she worked as a Ride Op in Upper Nick) from work one afternoon, the Head Of Security spotted me and requested me to follow her, I was issued a 5 year ban from park property and allowed to wait for my girlfriend to get off work under supervision of a Carowinds Uniformed guard.

I never wrote another poem after that, and I used to love writing poems. Carowinds was not mentioned or referenced in the poem, the day that the poem was written about turned out to be the day I proposed.

That version is the equivalent of the different versions of the bible . . . meaning its been drastically changed as time go by. C'mon roller, you know that's not all there was to it.
