I'm thinking some kind of Scarowinds behind the scenes tour or something like that. But, who knows what those magical folks over at the park will come up with!

What makes this years event interesting is:

-First time in a different month, short operating hours (C3 that is. Not counting the first small event we did my first year.)

-The new attraction, BB, won't be featured because it'll be closed. we've always had some kind of ERT in the past on the new addition.

-Last year, the Amazing Race was "different." This year, trying to come up with something just as exciting at that. I had thought about an hour of game shows. Family Feud. Another exciting round of Match Game. Hollywood Squares.

Whatever we can come up with, I can guarantee that you'll have fun and a very enjoyable day (and probably very memorable.)

Maybe you did not read it but Scooby Shootout is retired, but it would be cool to see if I could keep my Scoreless string alive. Maybe have ERT on DORA!!!!!! LOL!!!!

Dave...you're home early from Spring Fling!

Actually, Alan, the whole campfire thing sounds great. I never did a campfire at PPP or certainly don't have the desire to stay around the one that I'm sure is to be planned for a certain event in the coming weeks. But, one thing that I've always tried to pull off with C3 and anything else we do at the park, is to keep a close group together here in the Carolinas. In general, I really believe we do have that. We can have a place to chill out after the event. Maybe if people need to head out of the park for a while, they can chill there.

I designate y'all the Campfire Guys, Put your heads to get together and see what you can come up. When you get an idea, we'll go forward with it.

How hard could it be to push a few buttons?

Actually that's not a bad idea, but I know the park wouldn't go for it.

Yeah and i wouldnt go for it either

flyers ERT is a must. lol

we could do something ace-special for thunder road's 30th....

a snapping contest would be fun.. if we could get the rules and the participants

i had mixed feelings about the amazing rACE... executed differently it could have been much better.. .but it was a great way to pass the time

something with more trivia and less running around would be cool... at least this year it won't be in blazing heat...

i dont mind not having ERT at BB... b/c coasters are better :D

oh and i hope we get concrete answers since it'll be so late in the season... assuming we have a Q and A. Which was awesome, and i hope they decide to do it again. raffles for some park stuff would be cool again...

i can't wait for C3. It's truly a blast.. and the best memory i've ever had at the park.. the first two flyer cycles of the morning and the last two at night are burned into my memory forever

Here's another idea...

I really liked the DVDs that SFOG made for us for Spring Fling.

Could the park do something similar? Like put some footage from Thunder Road's opening year, various coaster footage they use, stuff like that.

I really enjoyed watching the DVD from SFOG.

Just a thought.

Oh and since it's the 30th birthday of TR, why not include it in the eveing ERT session again. We could even sing to it again. ;)

How about letting us all sign FOF's...or...IJ:ST's...launch track?

We can admire our signatures during C3 2007 ERT.

Yeah I wan to go back there and see where they are hiding Wild Bull. ;)

I wouldn't mind a behind the scenes tour though. They've never done one that I know of.
