^ Why? There are several parks it could go to: Carowinds, Dorney, MI Adv. and Great America. Although since SFMW or whatever it's going by these days has one of those.

Because Dorney Park supposedly had the power generator installed to run one of these, just like cedar point did before they opened theirs. so i was a logical choice.

Why would CF relocate Steel Venom to a park that dosent need it much? Since there moving X-flight to KI one would assume there relocating Steel Venom to a Paramount Park. Either Great America or Carowinds. Im hoping for Carowinds, GA can kiss my @$$.

Although it'd be nice to have, I'm hoping that CF realizes that Carowinds really needs something spectacular in the thrill department and gives us something new next year. We've got our hand me down stuff. Let's see something new and different.

I'll agree with that. Those impulse coasters never did much for me anyway.

Well i loved Wicked Twister at CP to death and Steel Venom would still be a good addition. But after that in 09 i vote new flat expansion then a new coaster. But with our luck we may get the title the relocation capitol of the world. Soon new ride adds will be like this. Coming soon to Knotts Berry Farm(and then Carowinds in 5 years) Super mega giga coaster thing.

Screamscape (yeah, I know) now states that the new power supply is needed because the park has been having problems, and then talks about height and noise issues.

Again, I really doubt it's going to Dorny at all.

Well at least Carowinds, a Cedar Fair company, doesn't have to worry about noise and I doubt they really have to worry about too much hieght. The planes don't come anywhere near the tower so up, up and away we could go.

I agree that Wicked Twister is kind of fun but it got old real quick, like the 3rd time I rode it.

Carowinds is a nice park. I have visited it three times in my life most recently last year and I do say it's missing one very important thing to move it up on the map.

They desperatly need a Hyper coaster of some sort, B&M hyper or an Intamin hyper it doesn't matter they just need one of those.

Is a 185ft coaster on 15 ft of extra supports considered a hyper coaster? Honestly I would accept anything at carowinds, yeah im not using the paramount anymore :( , but if it were that I would like to see it bring atleast 2 flat rides to the party with it! I would love to see some particular initials at the park lets say....hummm... GCII

No a hyper coaster is 200 feet or higher. Carowinds does not have any coaster considered a hyper coaster.

Lets do some math here ok, we have a 185 ft tall coaster (185) PLUS 15ft of extra supports (15ft).....so that means 185ft+15ft=200ft!

I don't think a Hyper coaster is really what they need. I mean I would take one that has a really neat layount and is fast over a hyper coaster. I mean expedition g-force isn't a hyper coaster but it is probably one of the best roller coasters around.

Expedition GeForce is really a hyper coaster or mega coaster if you want to get technical.

Apollo's Chariot technically isn't a hyper since it's not 200 ft tall, the first drop is though.

A hyper to me is any fast, full-circuit, non looping, steel coaster for the most part.

Or you can call it a Jr. Hyper.

A Jr. Hyper would be find for Carowinds I think, although I still doubt it will ever happen. Cedar Fair just doesn't seem to build them anymore. The last one was like what? 1999 or earlier (not counting Milly which is 300ft).
