That's the odd thing in this - I can clearly remember using the bridge when going to the pool, but really can't recall White Lightnin' rides with it in place. I'm pretty sure I rode WL at least a time or two (probably many more than that) between '82 and '88 - I was a passholder most of those years. I suppose the earlier rides prior to the bridge being there stick in my mind more.

WL would definitely be among my faves at the park were it there today. I quite enjoyed Greased Lightning at SFKK, and it'd be my ONLY reason for ever going back to that dump. It's too bad that SFOG couldn't have kept it AND added Superman, I'd sure like to have one only 4 hours away. It certainly brought back some memories - "Lightnin' strikes....NOW!"
