Days of Thunder came back for a while during the 2004 season. I miss it, sort of.

Now I think only one side of the theater is being used, and there is only a handful of games in the arcade. I would actually not be surprised to see them remove it in some capacity to open to the space behind Thunder Road. None of the other non-Paramount Cedar Fair parks have the Iwerks-style theaters to my knowledge.

Jay is right, Secrets of the lost temple had signs in the que area of AFX in 2004 and 2005 but I don't remember it ever opening. In 2006, rumor had it that SpongeBob was actually going to be sent away in favor of a BORG/Star Trek movie, and was shown to 2006 employees but never opened to the public. The secondary films were generally never promoted. Secrets of the Lost Temple only operated half the season in 2003, so as far as I know side 2 hasn't been used outside of Scarowinds for years.

Thought I would try to bring some life to this thread. What does everyone think will be the new show in the action theatre for 2010 seeing how Spongebob will be gone?
