Well I went out to the park for a couple hours, and got on Borg. It was amazing how fast it was moving (the line)!

It was the fastest so far, 1 hour, maybe 55 minutes. We were shocked, because the line was out past the loop, maybe even farther out than that.

It didn't break down once, but it was only running 1 train (again) <_<

hey man, i was there today too... we ran to the ride when the park opened. we got on the second train in the third row or so. we wanted to ride the front row but they wouldnt let us. the saturator was great though, rode it twice, and it was operating with a lot of water on so we got really wet. when i was on the goldrusher, i saw some dude behind us in the same cart as us wearing a millenium force shirt with this other guy, i dont know if that's someone from the messageboard here but he kinda looked familiar as if i had seen his picture before somewhere, who knows. it was pretty hot today though, and the lines were very short.

edit- oh, at the beginning when we got on, they were running two trains on borg. i guess they decided to pull one of them off.

Was it a grey Millennium Force shirt? If so that was me wearing that and my friend from work James that was with me. We're up there all the time for ERT on Sundays, so if you go then you'll probably see us, and sometimes his family too.

I remembered why I don't ride Goldrusher too much - banged my knee something fierce on the last helix. I thought it was somewhat odd they didn't leave the water over there in that big grassy area between it and BORG - that was one of the fun parts of Goldrusher, going by the water.

We waited for BORG at opening - that line was INSANE. Before they let the people into the actual queue line, it spilled out into that paved area beside Vortex and wrapped around back to the Skytower. When they let us into the line, we were waiting beside the loop. Got in the single-rider line and it didn't take too long at all with both trains going. Didn't see it running when we went by after riding Hurler and Saturator, so I'm guessing they had an issue and went to running one train.

Got a Hurler ride - it's running faster and is delivering airtime, but just doesn't feel like Hurler of old. I think it's the turns, it just doesn't seem to be going through those right. The seatbelts are also making it hard to tell if the airtime is as good as in past years.

Top Gun is simply superb, as usual. Ran great during ERT, and had picked up a bit by the afternoon - my feet were numb in the batwing on my last ride.

I've been very impressed with the new ERT - they've started it on time or early every time I've been, and seem to have it staffed properly.

My only issue with the park so far has been inconsistency on wearing my glasses on BORG. I've ridden it a few days where they said they were OK with the strap, and had others where they had to come off, regardless of strap. This wouldn't be an issue except that their loose article storage system isn't friendly to anything delicate like glasses, which would be fine on a storage cubby on another ride but can get damaged easily with the ops moving those bins around and people digging through them to get their stuff after the ride.

I've ridden everything imaginable with a strap and have never had my glasses come off - including Superman:Ultimate Flight and BORG on the times they let me wear them. They're totally secure. Yet ops on those 2 coasters sometimes require me to take them off on SOME days, and it's somewhat of a pain. One I can't see as well, two they're somewhat expensive to replace, and three I like having protection for my eyes. I think it wouldn't irk me as much as when they sometimes say they're perfectly fine, as long as I have a strap. From now on I guess I'll carry the case for them, just in case.

Yeah, I guess that was you then. We sat in front of you on goldrusher at the back, i think you had the very last row. We rode borg on the second train out, so it was cool. We ran to the ride when the park opened, lol. That shaved off a lot of minutes of waiting by just running instead of walking.

The saturator was great though, we had a lot of fun waiting in line on that one. We rode it twice that day. I have to go work on saturday and sunday from 10-6 in the season pass processing. I hope it doesnt' suck.

Did your friend have on a white Cedar Point shirt that had all the coasters listed on the back? If so, I was about 10 people behind you in line for Borg about 2:00 .lol <_<
