Yeah yeah, I know this thread is meant for announcements, but I didn't want to make a whole new thread just for this. Anyways, it looks like Busch Gardens Williamsburg will be getting a major new attraction, possibly another coaster in 2017.

Although it seems unlikely (RMC said they didn't have any orders yet) I'd love to see BGW be the first to use the new "T-Rex" track.

^ You never know maybe not the T-Rex track per say but it could be the next launched woodie or traditional one. Either way it'll be a first for them, having no wooden coasters. They did leave that hammer on the table or am I the only one that saw it?

Prepare for an invasion of the Vikings to New France @ BGW in 2017.
Wooden coaster with 74 foot drop and speed of 48mph.

In 2017, a great battle will ensue in the trappers' village of New France. Vikings will invade, forcing the trappers to defend their village. Invade new territory on the first wooden coaster at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. The 74-foot drop makes it a force to be feared and nine airtime hills wait to be conquered by bold warriors. Chart a course through the winding frontier at 48 mph and claim eternal glory for your crew.

I'm just loving all of the rollercoaster designers on Facebook slamming there negative thoughts on this coaster. I for like it, it's going to be an airtime monster. That's all that matter to me.

Well the POV for Mako at Seaworld Orlando is out. I must say the pacing on the coaster is quite lovely. lol. Hopefully it stays this fast. I've never seen a B&M haul a* over the hills as such and MCBR looks like it barely engaged. Maybe I better not get my hopes up. lol. It's still a great looking coaster.
