I was always too busy laughing at the picture of Magic Mt's Revolution they used to promote White Lightnin'.

I hate it when places uses other things to promote things. Like on the Carowinds website, they use PGA's Top Gun as the picture for our Top Gun (the track is black instead of gray.) Its like false advertising when you advertise the wrong thing. They should advertise the right thing instead of a different thing.

^^^^^ Amen Brother Well Said. I was apart of the Top gun Photo Shoot and I have yet to see anything from that Photo Shoot. (opps I forgot it is on the Website Video for Top Gun) I thought that they took Stills and Moving. They also used the Stealth pics for Borg. I can Understand prior to the Park opening of the New Attraction. They have done it for Saturator. Now Jonathan uses his Original Artwork...... Why can't the Park be like Jonathan????.................Great Pics BTW

I've got a 1981 brochure of Carowinds. This is one year AFTER the Carolina Cyclone opened, yet the brochure shows Cedar Points corkscrew on the front cover of the brochure.

I realize parks do this more out of convenience rather than cost but heck, all they need to do is email Jonathan and I am sure most people on this board would be happy to donate pictures.

Also, what about these Carowinds TV commercials? They're just as bad. They use to show Anaconda at PKD & Top Gun at PGA on Carowinds commercials.

Carowinds Marketing personel know that the majority of viewers do not recognize specific details like this. And they probably just hate it when we expose them on the www.

I dont know about where you guys are but all the commercials so far this year in columbia all the commercials are showing the borg footage they filmed back in may. Well before the park open they were showing the vid they had on the website, but now they only show the b-roll. And in the right light if I squint and tilt my head 30 degrees to the left I can see myself!!

Also got some brochures from most years in the 80s, and then '77, '79. Every year from 1992 on up.

I actually obtained several of the older ones through Ebay.
