Fantasy Harbor? Is that the same as <a href='http://www.defunctparks.com/parks/SC/Magicharbor/magicharbor.htm' target='_blank'>Magic Harbor?</a> Isn't this theme park being built by the owners of the Pavilion?

No. Fantasy Harbor is over at the old defunct Waccamaw Pottery on 501. (This was shown in the graphic.) Magic Harbor is now campsites.

HRP is not being built by B&C (Owners of the Pavilion, and for that matter, Myrtle Beach). It will be a private company, IIRC, with a license from Hard Rock Company.

Yay! I'm glad it is approved. Perhaps it will be opened by 2007...

I don't think you can built a whole theme park in a year. Try late 2007 at the earlist.

It was in the Sun News today that they're breaking ground on the Hard Rock Park on July 13th. I was beginning to wonder if it was still on! This is the first bit of news about it in a while.
