General Carowinds discussion

I'll post more when we get back from vacation, but I wanted to comment on the use of the terms historic and iconic.

People using those terms are using them in the context of the park itself. Nobody is saying that TR is historic nor is it iconic like the Coney Cyclone. But in context i think people are using those words just fine.

It would not surprise me if Cyclone left within the next ten years. As for Woodstock and Goldrusher, I think they'll be around for a long time.

All this news about Thunder Road reminds me something that was said at the Intimidator announcement: “Sometimes you have to take one step back to take two steps forward.”

Well God forbid the water park be disturbed. I didn't realize the precious sensibilities of water park visitors was being sooooooooooooooooooooooo disturbed. Anything else disturbing the pristine, marvelous water park we need to demolish no matter how historical or viable or enjoyable it is?

Good Grief

I hope this isn't disturbing the water park too much. My disappointment now is nothing compared to the rage I'll have when they take down Magnum!

They wont have to take it down...it's still sinking right?
