While I cannot disagree with that second statement, I have to say I don't think this is a red herring.

Virtually none of the teaser we've gotten from the park (about anything) have actually been intentionally misleading. But that doesn't stop certain enthusiasts from saying that's the case (about everything).

Please come by and say hi. If people can stand hanging around me, then I doubt you'll be more annoying. I enjoy meeting more people from here since most of us share the same love for amusement parks.

Yesterday I was at Kings Dominion and decided to try out there new slides since we are basically receiving the exact same thing. This was not my first time riding a drop slide because I have ridden the one at Wilderness in the Smokies. I don't think some people realize the thrill in these slides. It truly is a different experience from other slides.

They are fantastic! Looking down has to be the most death defying thing one can do while on those capsules. Its no wonder why so many chicken out after getting inside . . .

And for the record, you didn't get "slide-burn" right?

^^You know I was really surprised that it didn't hurt my back. The one at Wilderness in the Smokies is killer on the back but it is designed different. My main concern is the wedgie I get at the end  There were several people who backed out. Also the speed was so fast I nor my husband could keep our feet crossed. I have never gotten scared or nervous before riding a coaster but standing and looking down in that slide works the nerves.

I'll have my video up in a day or so. I managed to edit what wasn't necessary and kept it under 30 minutes long. I like the intro that I done (only about 2 minutes total). I also edited in all of the video that the park gave us. It took about 3 hours to edit the whole thing.
