Unless I'm being a complete idiot, I can't find a link to any of the bidding on Carowinds' or Intimidators website now. I went back into my browser history and found the auction stuff, and all bids have been cleared (sorry Jarvis; it was a nice thought at least lol) except for a $200 by Richard E. Maybe they opened the auction prematurly?
Anyways:
https://intimidator.carowinds.com/publi ... /index.cfmAre you ready to be the first to burn rubber on the tallest, fastest, and longest rollercoaster in the Southeast? Intimidatorâ„¢ opens to the public on Saturday, March 27, 2010, and you could be the first to ride this mammoth coaster by participating in the Intimidatorâ„¢ First Ride Charity Auction.
Carowinds has partnered with the Dale Earnhardt Foundation to hold the first ride auction by remembering the legend of Dale Earnhardt, and benefitting our local community at the same time. Edit: Also, I don't feel like going back through the last few pages to see if it has been posted, but: Dale Earnhardt has been announced as one of the five inductees into the Nascar Hall of Fame in 2010!
