Because I like meats and lettuce covered in ranch dressing?  Seriously though, it's "light" so I don't get too full, which would slow me down and makes me feel sick in the middle of a long hot day at the park. I'll stick to the "big" meals for the end of the day. I'M TIRED OF THE THIN SHAMING! I'LL EAT A SALAD WHEN I PLEASE!

but chickie and petes is on the dining plan...

They must have changed it then, I had to pay for my visit this year.

So I know this is out of place... but I am going to Cedar Point this summer and I would like to know what is the best order to ride the rides and so on??? I am trying to make a schedule but I do not know the order we should ride based on lines and the intensity of each ride.

Jay, I wasn't impressed with C&P.

As for CP, I can't suggest Fast Lane (Plus) enough. Unless you get a rare dead day, there's really not any best way to do the park in the middle of summer. It gets quite busy.

This discussion should probably go in a different forum, but whatever I'm still going to answer.

tl;dr: Lines are long, spending 2 days may be smart. Maybe lines are short some weekdays, but I'm not sure I believe it.

From my experience in 2013, I needed 2 days. I'm so thankful I had 2 days or else I would've had to make some terribly tough decisions and definitely not gotten to ride everything. I don't recall what day of the week I went (I probably would've avoided a Saturday but other than that, no idea). I waited at least 2 hours for Millenium Force and TTD, and I waited longer for Maverick (it closed down for a little bit, I don't remember why, it might've been a short rain shower or there might have been technical difficulties... yeah I guess I have a bad memory) but probably would have been about 2 hours without delays. Basically, the lines were LONG. I was expecting it though. However, late at night close to closing, Wicked Twister was a walk-on. I rode it at least twice. I suppose all lines get shorter at closing time but I wasn't expecting any walk ons during my whole trip to CP so I was happy :D

I have a friend who lives closer to CP and tried to tell me that it's not crowded all the time and there are no lines on weekdays. I don't really believe it, but maybe you will be lucky and she will be right. But maybe for someone who grows up with CP, their definition of "no line" is a 30 min to 1 hour wait

fast lane plus is a must. And I suggest TTD, Maverick, and Millenium Force to do first as, the lines fill up quick and Maverick and TTD tend to go down frequently so get on it while its up.

Does TTD just break down often during the day, or is it known to frequently be down all day? I might make a trip to the point next month.

Dragster usually isn't a major problem anymore but they have been having issues with Maverick and MF this year. Plus, now that they went with an outside consulting firm, CP operations aren't what they used to be.

Don't know if this has been discussed before, but why is it that most cf parks have Non-Folded maps this year? I've been to Cw, KI, KD & CP this season and only CP had folded maps. Does anybody know why this is?

its possible they may have found a cheaper printer or are printing them themselves, which would mean no machine folding them.

But hey, they do make for a nice display piece, haha. My Carowinds map is on my wall at the moment.
Hey, we'll be going down this Monday to deliver and assemble the model. How do you all think the crowds will be? Based on the past few weeks?

When the park map was released before the season, I was afraid it would become one of the flat styles. Busch Gardens, Dollywood and Kings Dominion all have flat maps and I hate them. They are cheap, disposable, don't look as good, and are harder to collect. It feels like Carowinds has no sense of pride in their maps now.

I wish they would go back, but much like Thunder Road and the Plantation House I'm sure that ship has sailed.

I folded mine myself  stuff lined up decently when it was roughly in thirds but not exactly.
