chknwing wrote:they have just about every type of B&M coaster they make, so this should be something new maybe a prototype. My Guess, the very first B&M Giga

they dont have a floorless or a dive machine or a wing rider and who says you cant have more than one sit down looper in a park?

track pieces are not big enough for a dive machine unless its a small dive machine. Also "its the one you been waiting for" doesnt sound like a floorless. I stick with B&M Giga. Also the rumored name is to be Leviathan.

Update. Canadas Wonderland site now says "We Have Always Enjoyed Breaking Records. Congratulations Canadas Wonderland."

Update. Giga B&M pretty much confirmed. From TPR

Interesting to see what this will look like. I can't imagine it will be a B&M floater. Then it would just be a 300 ft Behemoth.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. I guess it will be more like I305 and focus more on high speed turns rather than airtime. I was also thinking it could be something like a dive machine with a 90 degree drop but without the standard dive machine trains.

Im thinking it will be more so like I305 and not a dive machine. I guess we will find out Thursday morning what it will be.
I also wonder what B&M will do to get the train up the hill since a chain lift would be too heavy. Take the Intamin approach and use their version of a cable lift hill like on Millennium Force and Intimidator 305. They could also do what Chance Morgan did on Steel Dragon 2000 and have two different chain lifts on the lift hill. B&M might even have a completely new design for getting their trains up the massive hill.

I see someone else has also been reading ThrillNetwork haha. But that is a good point. So far B&M has only used chains for lifts I think (minus Incredible Hulk).

^Actually no I haven't read their article on that, it was just a thought I had. I will have to look it up on what it has to say. You are also correct on the fact that the Hulk is the only B&M coaster without a chain lift.

Now why would Magic Mountain move one of their roller coasters if it means goodbye to the roller coaster title? Guess it's back to being tied with Cedar Point again.
