General Carowinds discussion

Gabed, Jay is correct. The big difference between Jarsh and Me is that he gets stuff more directly from the source with actual stats where as I get bits and pieces or Lump sums of info all over to put together.

I don't share everything I know. There are a few coasters coming in the next few years I'm not at liberty to talk about at this point. And,even then, I'm not always 100% spot on. I posted that i305 would be a giga thru the woods when it was infact a giga in a field. I posted in another forum that Kingda Ka was 30 feet higher and launching at 130. Those were a bit of base.

But I'm not in danger of losing contacts when I post. If I'm sworn to secrecy then I don't talk at all about it.

It's all in who you know.

I knew about Ki getting an invert two to three years before it was announced. It really wasn't a huge secret but people wanted to believe what they wanted to believe. I knew nothing other than invert and big.

Then there have been times dumb luck came into play. I was talking to an acquaintance once who isn't into coasters nor did he know I was that said his brother worked for a construction company that was building a huge water park addition to a park that hadn't been announced yet. Nobody believed me then either till it was announced.

Back in topic, I dunno what carowinds is getting but my guess is B&M Giga that hopefully interacts with a new front gate (but please kep the plantation house!).

Okay, I'll just guess a 300ft Intamin winged coaster.

I said nothing of the sort.

I know. We happen to share the same first name.

Personally, I wanna see another I305, but with all the issues Cedar Fair has had with it, I really doubt it. My realistic vote goes to a Leviathan style B&M giga, probably taller than the aforementioned, like 320ft or so, hitting 100mph.

I have to agree with the majority. All along I have been thinking it would be a B&M giga similar to Leviathan that interacts with the front entrance in some way.

I really hope it is a TOGO, though.
