General Carowinds discussion
#81042
Something to consider:
While studying Carowinds, Cedar Fair determined it should become a top-tier park, bringing in many more guests than the current 2 million a year. That would require expanding attractions. For example, Carowinds had less than half of the number of water-park activities as Kings Island near Cincinnati

The key word in the future will be 'had.' :)

RollerBee wrote:^Because that is the "Big Splash", Six Flags has a trademark on VooDoo, a Huss Top Spin.....

They also wrap their coasters in advertisements...and consider Rings of Fire roller coasters.
Guys, They not gonna trademark "Carolina harbor" to sell keychains, shirts, umbrellas...etc for just a playground...

A rollerCOASTER consists of a train which coasts along the track without any help (with the exception of a lift hill/launch which gives the train the necessary energy to complete the course.) The trains on Larson Loopers are stationary and the trains on Zamperla rides like Pipe Scream are propelled through the entire course. Thus neither can be considered coasters. Truthfully, whenever a park decides to call one a coaster, it's just a cop-out used to make their count look better.
