Good post. I agree.

I disagree.

But it is paid for and I am continuing to enjoy no car payment since it still reliably gets me around so I'm trying to milk it for a few more years.
Those coasters are paid for and people continue to ride them. I'm sure the park wants to replace them, and they will in due time. None of them are terrible in my opinion.
Nice analogy. We have these rides (cars) and want more rides instead of swapping out for better; however, it's ok to discuss which of our rides (cars) we'd replace if we could afford a shiny new replacement for it's spot in our garage.
Nighthawk isn't the worst coaster in the park, a distinction shared by Vortex and Kiddy Hawk, but of the 3 Vekomas it would be the first to go, IMO. Kiddy Hawk sits on a small plot and its worst issues can be addressed with a different harness. Flying Cobras sits on a small plot and is as good as a boomerang can be. Nighthawk sits on a large premium plot, has design issues (is it a flying or lying coaster?), and is rough as Gold Rusher without the history. People line up to ride it for many reasons, not the least of which is its throughput. Given a better choice than that potato centerpiece people would ride more, line up more and love you for it.
