According to the last couple of weeks the teasers for cedar fair have come out about once every week. if I'm right and we are getting "anything significant" next season then we should see a teaser/trailer or some clues in the next couple of days!

Does Carowinds even have any kind of announcement planned regarding 2013? Reportedly, Cedar Point, Kings Dominion, and Great America all have big announcements scheduled. But any kind of announcement scheduled for Carowinds, even if it turns out to be dinosaurs? We believe CP is a big new front gate coaster, but curious about KD breaking new records. And any teasers for Carowinds coming soon? More and more it looks like we won't be getting anything big until 2014.

Hurler 2.0 - Iron Horse track and new trains. Add a bunny hill before turn 3, reprofile turns 3 and 4 and add a barrel roll finale.

I would actually be excited to ride Hurler if that happened. Sounds more like a dream though

Then again we didn't even think that kings dominion was getting anything good next year, and now they might be setting a record next season. so we could see a teaser soon and if not, then oh well.

my wish that I've always had for hurler is that if they did ever reconstruct it, then the mid-point of the ride would disperse into the woods for an out and back type experience , I'm a sucker of terrain coasters in the woods, like prowler, or the voyage. Probably won't ever happen, but it's still fun to dream about!

Samething I am saying. Why are we waiting so late, even canadas wonderland has a posting. To be honest Carowinds sucks compared to those parks.

I don't think that that has to do with the of the park's profile, I think that it has to do with a much larger picture that we just can't see currently where kings island and carowinds will soon receive a giga followed by KD getting a hyper. also remember that Canada's Wonderland is basically the cedar point of Canada. so Cedar fair will spoil and favor CW right next to cedar point.

Heres comes the flavor of the month, looping wooden coasters. Ok, let me entertain this thought...

why waste money knocking down sections of hurler to reuse other sections? There is not one part of hurler that is prolific to keep, including the station. Im sure it would be best to start from stratch...but yeah, looping woodies, flavor of the month.

TAER IT DOWN. Start from scratch. If a few right turns and some bunny hills knock your brains out, imagine what a loop would do over time.

where in the park did carowinds expand?

because depending on where they expanded could harbor places for future attractions.
for example:
1. near Boomerang bay, "waterpark expansion"
2. near carowinds camping, " hotel"
3 near hurler, "possible thrill zone expansion"
etc...

I want to agree that I think Perilous Plunge is coming from Knott's. I happen to love the addition because of the water aspect. I'm just saying.....we all say "more family rides/ non-coasters". With Carowinds lower daily attendance than KBF this would be a good addition and ride capacity wont be an issue.

we already have white water falls. i don't see them taking it out just to put a bigger one in. Waste of time and money in my opinion...

What they could do is remove WWF and the mini golf, and place it there. It would be near the water park too.
