I love the hurler.

I love the hurler IN THE BACK.

You people may think I'm wierd, but the last row is my favorite!! I rode it about 10 times today and only one wasn't in about the last 4 rows.

I rode it in the very first row for the first time ever today and you guys are right, it is WAY smoother. However, I still like the back better. I'm not sure why, but the ride doesn't seem as fun and exciting in the front. I do think, though, that if it could be retracked to be smoother, I'd love that. It is fine to me as it is, but I think that would be the smartest decision from the park. I don't want it to be removed.

Also, does anyone know why the building for the hurler says 31 on it?

I rode the Hurler in row 9 yesterday when I was out there. It wasn't too bad. Yes it is a little jolting, but not as bad as the back was. I just think maybe the ride slams you because it is so fast. Love the first banked turn. If it rode smooth, it would be a GREAT ride. I couldn't get the front yesterday without waiting about 5 runs. They only had one train and the trains were full leaving the station. I say props to them for that, maybe the full trains are a little better for the roughness you get with partial trains.

The 31 remains from the original "Wayne's World" theming. Wayne's World 2 was filmed partially at Paramount Studio's "Stage 31." The original theme of the Hurler was that you were getting a behind the scenes tour of the "Wayne's World" set.

Well ....

Decided I would ride the Huler yesterday, and close to the back because the waits were about 8-10 people for the first few rows.

And yea ... Got off the ride, with a headache as usual I might add, and a few minutes later I get a text. Well, I open my phone and guess what? the hinge is bent up and the screen is cracked right down the center .....

Just thought I'd say that, as a warning.

Has my opinion of Hurler changed? No, I still love the ride and will continue to ride it, but I will say they defiantly need to do some work on it.

I went to Carowinds for the first time this year about three weeks ago. I rode every coaster, as far as I see it I do not like the hurler at all it is way to painful and not all that fun anymore. They should either retrack it or get rid of it. Nighthawk seem much more fun a few years prior, its a lil rough but fun. As for Vortex I use to hate it but I took all the advice with bending my legs so when it locked so it wasnt at my croch. I also held my head on the head rest into the helix and corkscrew, it was a blast! Keeper in my eyes.

I HATED Hurler! I rode it once and only once, that was it!

I say tear it down and build a nice coaster like a floorless or a GCI woodie.

You gotta admit, even for you Hurler likers, that it would be well worth it.
