It makes sense to me. Even if it’s not technically exclusive to hotel guests, I’d imagine they’d still try to limit the availability to keep it from overcrowding.

I see people are bringing up the whole staffing issue...

Isn't the purpose of the new employee dorms to help with staffing?

Next season, I don't see us having as hard of a time getting enough employees to operate the park on a regular basis.

Not exactly, it is being built to save Carowinds/Cedar Fair the costs of renting hotel rooms for their imported employees from other countries.

However in theory if the dorms will save the company money then they could potentially import more employees however I think it was said by someone that excess rooms would be offered to American employees but I could be confusing with the Work Camper program.

This is simplistic but you can follow that...

more employees = more rides open
more employees = faster "disbatch times" (in a lot of cases)
therefore...
more employees = shorter lines
more employees = happier customers
more employees = more customer revisits
therefore...
more employees = more income

I'm sure the "more income" would far surpass the "cost of more employees".

I don't think anyone was arguing any of those assumptions.

The point RollerBee was making (at least in my reading) is that these dorm employees are already being housed somewhere else. The dorms may not bring in more employees, they'll just be housed somewhere differently. Any extra rooms may be offered to current, US-based employees, probably college students from other states.

1.) Autos in Dinos Alive
Yes.... I would hope they would bring them back.
Great for Family's ... Kids would love it.
Gas or Electric...?
Keep the Dinosaurs in a make it like Safari..... Path is already there.

2.) Yo Yo Removal
I could see that happening especially if they have something in mine to do with that area.

3.) Go Carts
I wished.... Maybe some kind of Nascar theme .

The one thought that never occurred to me is the possibility that there just won’t be a capital intensive investment, but rather multiple small things and updates. That Monster Jam Thunder Alley attraction is probably on its way, maybe as something to occupy the space where Dinos Alive is going to vacate. Maybe one or two new restaurants, and/or an expansion of Grand Carnivale. So far though, there’s nothing to suggest a major new attraction for 2020.

I remain fairly certain that any "major capital investment" for 2020 will be limited to CH; the dry park will see nothing but infrastructure upgrades and probably the demolitiion of RRR/DA.

i seriously doubt we get 2 vehicle driving rides in one season. I don't need either one of them. I own a car I can drive really fast. I just don't get standing in line to "pretend" drive one that goes 5 miles an hour on a track, or pay an upcharge for a lame gokart. No antique cars please, No go carts please.

Fortunately, Cedar Fair is working to provide attractions for different tastes....including antique cars. I would welcome those back, not the upcharge go-karts. Some "Enthusiasts" said the same thing at KI about bringing them back, but people are loving them and riding them. Not everything has to be the next best thing. Antique car rides provide something for more ages to be able to ride together. Do I see that being something added in 2020? No.

You do know you are just `1 of the 2+million guest right? They aren't building things just for you.

To add to the Speculation.... New Theater

Its a bit scary to watch the two Raccoons during one their acts when they are rocking back and forth on the pole.... There heads seem only inches away from hitting there heads on the ceiling lights scaffolding

It would be Very Expensive so the chances of it happening would be Low..... Unless they could find other ways to bring in money for it & have outside access to it for it .
