I don't see County Fair being re-themed to some sort of Action Zone or the likes. First of all, they already have a Thrill Zone on the other side of the park, making an "Action" theme redundant and unoriginal. And I don't see them moving the Thrill Zone theme over to County Fair.

Why not make it an original themed area to Carowinds? Maybe do some sort of Carolinas themeing. After all, Thunder Road already fits that theme. I think it will be something a little more like that. Maybe not Carolinas themeing, but unique themeing as far as the Paramount parks go.

The only reason i don't think it's a CF makeover is because the re-painterd the arches, Yes the name is gone but if it were going to be Action FX section or whatever i don't think they would have arches with flowers at the entrance to such an area.

Didn't SFOG repaint the GASP for it's last season?

And, as it has been stated on here many times before, park plans change...I'm sure they wouldn't rethink a country fair rethem just because they repainted the sign a few months earlier.

lets be honest...how many people actually know of thrill zone? And how hard will it be to just slap another name on the park map for the area being that it doesnt really have a marker sign outside the entrance like waynes world did...


and there will never be another "carolina" themed section at PARAMOUNT's carowinds, well I wouldnt go as far as to say never but the chances of it happening are slim to none...trust me on this one B) .

Why would there never be another Carolina's themed section at Carowinds? I see you emphasized the Paramount part, however, PARAMOUNTS Carowinds did add the CAROLINA BOARDWALK in what, 2001? I don't see any reason why they couldn't repeat this.

The reason I state that is because now the focus is to capitalize on the actual paramount products like the shows and movies vs anything else. At the time carolina boardwalk was introduced that wasnt the focus but now things have shifted into movie mode...

The Boardwalk and Ricochet were filler ins for the 2002 season. Keep in mind, it was Carowinds' 30th birthday, so it linked the present to the past.
