Seatbelts in B&M speed coasters are a useless redundancy anyways. Most don't even have them and it would take a major catastrophic failure fir a clam shell restraint to fail. Remember, the default position is locked.

Is there a document somewhere that describes the functionality of those restraints? I like to tinker with stuff and have always wondered how those are designed and how the parts go together.
