^^ I think that would be more interesting except for the fact that the 2 and the 1 are also in different styles... I too am someone who will tend to overanalyze things, but as far as the zero here I think it means nothing. (See what I did there?) But yeah it's just different handwriting I'm pretty sure.

Here's what I think happened. An office employee said, "Hey, I'm going to the beach. Want me to take a picture of '2016' in the sand and email it to you?" And Carowinds said, "Hell yeah!" (or something like that).
The difference in the 2, the 0, the 1, and even the 6 are just because we are seeing this person's handwriting and nothing more.

Anyone else think it's interesting how each wave pool is in a different state? That could make for some interesting theming.

Last week I heard "The Worlds Largest Wave Pool" being constructed and "Great Barrier Reef" is being filled in. Do not know if that means largest in terms of size or waves though. Some of the big ones claim surf size waves.

in the blue print it looks identical to the existing wave pool. if its anything like typhoon lagoons I will personally go set fire to thunder roads remains.

Yeah, I think there is probably too much being read into the slashed 0. As someone who does some development, it's common for me to write Ø instead of 0 to differentiate between 0 and O, [s]Z[/s] instead of Z to differentiate between Z and 2, and [s]7[/s] instead of 7 to differentiate between 7 and 1. It is pretty common.
