I've had a lot of people ask me for them while I walk around the park and I always wonder why they didn't get their butts up early at 9am and get into the park to get their own.

I've got too much going on with my sports blog to actually have time to get to the parks and get merchandise but.. my family and I still found time every day for the past week to get up out of bed at 9am and get a poster and a pin.

Now if everyone at the park asked me for something and I gave them it. I'd be broke!! :sarcasm:

The moral of the story is that if you put in hard work, you get a good reward.
Hard work! Dedication!

^ Well some of us have other stuff to do each day, and are putting our "Hard work!" and "Dedication!" to more important things. The moral of the story is that getting to the park every morning is not hard work.

You know shane, a lot of these guys who complain about not getting merchandise. I see them line up in the morning time to get the early access Fury 325. (Ain't that the truth)

Since the fury is exactly opposite of Thunder Road location wise, there is zero chance you'll get back in time for merchandising.

Now I know Fury is tempting but if you're coming for Thunder Road and you care about it. It isn't hard to wake up at 9pm and go to straight to that coaster.

You dont see people lining up to get on Thunder Road like they're doing for fury early in.
And this is exactly why they're shutting it down!!

I think you're missing the point that you're not the only one who wants one. Others also have memories on the ride and would love some but you have to hoard up more than you could ever need. I don't think the park should have to tell you "1 per person please". I don't know if you plan to try and sell them, or just keep them all to yourself, but either way you're being a selfish, arrogant jerk.

Sharing is caring! From what I understand, SeasonDiningPlan went to the park in the morning with his/her family everyday of this week to go get a button and a poster? Furthermore, it's the whole family so everyone should have gotten a button. Am I correct? C'mon, not like it's anyone's business as to what you're gonna do with all of the extras buttons, but I think you could share some, right? I mean, they're only 100 a day. If you go and take a whole bunch when you only needed one to begin with, then how is anyone else going to get one? Maybe so many people asked you because they wanted one but there were no more buttons available by the time they got there. Not saying that's all your fault but I saw that happen the day I went to get my button.

The line tonight is longer than I've ever seen, it's out of the station and up the walkway.

The operators are racing the trains. Blue slide seems to have a slow crew so silver side is playing games (if you're happy and you know it clap your hands, when I say thunder you say road).

to be fair, he did visit the park each day and did wait in line each time. his use for them is of no concern. He didn't break any rules to obtain them. Everyone had the same chance to get them. If he chooses to sell them, thats his prerogative, but just as a note, not everyone that wants one can goto the park to obtain one. If he sells it for $20 on ebay to a handicapped person that wanted one, I see no problem with it.

If the park states "not for resale" then its a problem. Post the link to where it is trying to seem them. The park will surely see it then and can get it shut down if they see fit.

If the park has no problem then neither should anyone else. Suprisingly everyone doesn't operate under the same moral or ethics code as we feel as individuals they should, and that's ok. Our moral and ethic codes are just that, ours. Forcing someone to do as we do or say as we say when its not breaking the law is unfair. Govern ourselves and let live...

I'm not trying to force my morals on other people. I just wanted to express my opinion that what (s)he was doing was greedy and selfish. Coasterbruh hits on the idea that what is the truth (or morally right) for me is not necessarily an absolute Truth (and such a universal Truth may not even exist) so it may not be true for others. ((Was this Nietzsche? I'm not sure. I'm pursuing a college degree in philosophy but I just started.)) So basically I know I might not be any more "right" than anyone else, but I think I am, and so I want to share my view with others so that they can seek to understand my perspective.

I'm actually not trying to be too serious or to argue with anyone. I just really enjoy talking about philosophy. I'm taking meta-ethics next semester so I can argue more intelligently about morals in a few months :P

Also, I'm pretty sure I'm going to cry for Thunder Road tomorrow. I already feel emotional...
