The last pic you posted was from a book called "For the Love of Peanuts." I read it in my younger days. It was continuous comic strips of the Peanut gang's activities, and all of them look like babies, even Snoopy, just like in your pic.

Now that pic brings back some memories. It was the first full book I ever read, and I picked it out at the old K-mart that used to be on North Tryon in Charlotte. Can you say "memory lane?" Thanks for posting it.

Memories, light the corners of my mind,
Misty colored watered memories,
Of the way we were...

"Oh, good grief. Charlie Brown, you blockhead!"

I can't wait to ride Snoopy vs. Red Barron.

Are you sure top gun is getting some new paint?

What reason do I have to lie? Do I look like queencityboy or coasterchris or whatever name he's using to lurk around the boards lately...

Cannot wait to see all the changes around the park this year. It's looking to be the best year ever.

The "changes" to the park I see while training every weekend are nothing short of awesomeness! All the bright colors on the coasters, park props, and buildings definitely make me know I'm not in Kansas anymore. Carowinds has delightedly stepped up it game this year. Whoever the planners are should be awarded for this whole new experience.

As I've stated before, Paramount's Carowinds split their new additions into threes. One year - a new ride for the kids; one year - new paint and repairs; one year - a new ride for the adults. But never, in the history of Carowinds since its original opening day, have there ever been this many "changes" in one season all over the park. Planet Snoopy alone is worth a walk through, even if you aren't a kid. The Intimidator is not just a ride, it's an experience from entrance to exit. I am so proud to be a part of this race-fan coaster attraction this year!
Come one, come all. You will fall in love with Carowinds all over again.
If you don't at least like it, you are colorblind and senseless.

Looks finished to me unless i'm missing something. :? They're currently putting up a white tent in front of Scooby's Great Skate or whatever it's called now and a stage in front of Intimidator's gift shop for the media day event tomorrow.

I was amazed at the changes they'd made in the park from March 13th to the 20th. I've got faith in that landscape crew out there. They aren't messing around.

Did anyone see the south entrance? Im not a fan of the palm trees down there. But over all looked really nice.

I personally like the new palm trees and the new parking lot look. It adds a touching feeling to the area.

I agree, it now looks like we have someone that cares about our (long time fan) park and wants to make it stand out a bit more. Great job!
