Dunno if anyone has been following Port Aventura's new B&M Hyper, Shambhala. It looks pretty amazing, especially the helix/hammerhead return thing.

Only thing I don't like is how it DOMINATES Dragon Khan. What I really wish is they would have spent this money 5 years ago when I went instead of that piece of garbage Furious Baco.. :roll:

Agreed. I'm more of a simple, clean lines theme park kinda person. I love to see each coaster have it's own area so that it doesn't interfere with others, especially when it comes to something as big as a hyper/giga. I mean, could you imagine what Cedar Point would look like if they had Millie and Maggie all overlapping? Yuck, lol. Dragon Khan dominated that side of the park and looked gorgeous. Now it's domination has been put to shame by Shambhala and it looks all crazy with supports going everywhere.

I understand if places have to (Indiana Beach, Blackpool, Gröna Lund, etc) and sometimes it even adds to a parks charm and atmosphere, but when it isn't necessary (like in this case) it just makes my OCD flip out, lol.

lol. First day we got there, run to Baco, wait about 90 minutes only for it to break down while we were the next group in line. Did get some exit passes to ride later I believe. Pretty sure everytime I tried to ride it broke down at some point. Such a shame, its such a pretty ride, but it doesn't do anything, and the outside seats are so rough. Hopefully the B&M wing coasters have that part figured out.

Anyway back on topic sort of..

WODAN at Europa Park took its first test run today.
