I agree with all thoughs and thank you for your views exept i noticed that there would be a long period without actors and then 5 actors in one scene

Last week, a monster got hit in the jaw, after she had her jaw surgery 2 years ago, and her face was a little swollen, so I know she didn't do much speaking in her spot. None of the guests realize how hard we work. Imagine screaming and moving around for 5 hours straight, and constantly getting hit. Last week I whipped in the throat from the metal part on a zip-up jacket. It's a harder job then you think, so please keep that in mind when doing reviews. We like to be thought of, too.

As a physically challenged guy, I have been well pleased with how well all the mazes and haunted attractions at Scarowinds are easy access for wheelchairs if need to be. The only challenged spots were Camp Killauee and a big crack in the path at the beginning of the Corn Stalker.

The mazes I thought are the best for startling new people are the Asylum, Silver Scream Sinema and Defex. As for Scare Zones, I thought Feeding Frenzy and Playground were good.

I'm going back this weekend for a 3rd visit. I love a good temporary scare.

I think the monsters need to be more scary...there needs to be more jumping out and scaring people, dont just stand there and expect someone to be afraid of you..chase people...get chainsaws, go after everyone! not just one or 2 people through a whole crowd! there also needs to be more monsters thru out the park.

Went to Scarowinds this past Saturday. I have been the past 7-8 years and sadly, this was the worst year for me, in my opinion.

Disappointments...
Mass Acres - NOONE was in there scaring people, all they did was expand the same graveyard.
Mazes - They let 40 people go through at one time. We were in Defex, and we were in that maze 15 minutes due to the amount of people that were in there. We were literally having conversation with the monsters.
Monsters standing around doing nothing, but look at you.....

Biggest improvement in a maze would be Dead Inn. It was never bad, but it was a lot better this year. The actors seemed to have a story line, and stuck with it.
