General Carowinds discussion
#63206
The best thing about SCarowinds is being able to ride the coasters at night. If you're going solely for the mazes..well...you're probably much better off going to one of the dozens of locally owned haunted trails and haunted houses in the Charlotte area. The scare factor at SCarowinds is pretty much nonexistent.

I wonder if Scarowinds is going to do something about the closing traffic. Last year we were literally stuck in parking lot for 2 hours because there was no traffic control when closing on the first weekend being open. So if they are improving on the enterance, i hope they are also going to improve on exit options also.

If you're the kind of person who gets scared at most/any mazes, then Scarowinds will frighten you.

If you're a normal person who understands that no haunted houses or mazes are real, then you'll likely not be scared anywhere.

I went to carowinds this past Sunday and there was a fenced off area in front of Carolina cobra that had all sorts of stuff in it for SCarowinds and was unmarked, I don't know if it's a scare zone or not but it was just rather suspicious.

I was going to say that that is probably for Blood Drums but it doesn't appear on their website.

Is it appropriate to post pictures here of attractions? I took a pic over the weekend of the new facade of the 7th Ward. Of course if I do, what is the usual method? This is one of those boards that doesn't allow inserting a pic. You have to link to a separate place where you post it.

It seems like it could be stuff for blood yard. It says that the location is the shade arbor but nothing was set up their yet even though most the other scare zones were. There were a lot of cars fenced off they normally use for feeding frenzy, so they could just being storing stuff there for now.

It could be, I was just curious because there are no scare zones or anything that I know of that are in front of Carolina cobra.
