Im not saying we will get that exact slide. Im saying i see them putting a big slide and a nice new and big kids area on the other side of thunder road for now until they put more in.

Well considering that Top Thrill Dragster has constant downtime, Shoot The Rapids tried to kill several people last year, and I305's first turn had to be rebuilt after one season. Then yes, I suppose Intamin is a high possibility.

B&M's are efficient, capable, smooth, fun, and overall better than Intamins, imo.

I just don't wanna pass out or be murdered while on a "thrill" ride...

I have to agree. Any "thrill ride" that has had past problems and could host future problems *cough cough* Intamin *cough*, then I would rather not ride it. I hope that Carowinds doesn't receive an Intamin for those reasons. Even thought I305 looks like a fun fast paced ride. I might would ride it, but I still don't know. Carowinds, please, no Intamin....

TTD is has been running great the last few years. TTD was 10-15 years ahead of its time. I am sure b&m will have substantial dowtime with their first launcher(hulk launch was not done by b&m) thunderbird at holiday world even though it will only be launching less than 60mph.

The fatalities on intamin rides has came from as a result of operator error and rider error such as the perilous plunge accident.

Intamin pushes the envelope to make fantastic rides. I applaud intamin for pushing the envelope on Maverick with the heartline roll and the intense first curve on I305. So what if they found out in the real world it would be to intense, they were willing to take the risk.

I would much rather have a ride that is exciting and thrilling that does experience dowtime due to its complexity and pushing the envelope. Preferring a coaster just because its reliable does not do it for me.

Cedar Fair's flagship has 4 main Intamin's and some smaller ones and Six Flags flagship has KK and El Toro.

I hope that b&m takes some risk with fury.

305 is a great ride. The only downside are the stupid OTSRs. You should ride it for sure, it's unlike any coaster i've ever ridden.

They have these things now called computers which have sophisticated software that actually allows you to determine if an element will break a rider's neck or knock them unconscious before you build it. B&M appears to use them, but maybe they haven't made it to eastern Switzerland yet.

There is such a thing as erring to much on the side of caution...
