Just a quick note to everyone to remind you that June 3 is SonFest (Christian music festival).

This is one of those days to AVOID the park at all costs as it tends to be overcrowded with happy/chatty little teenagers.

I'll be there in the evening for the concerts though.

Just wanted to remind everyone just in case you were thinking of going that day. Don't.

I'll second this! A few years back I went for Saturday ERT on a concert day, and got parked in the bus lot over by the Paladium instead of being allowed to go to the South gate. I got my TG rides in and a few others and was leaving when the park started to get busy, like usual.

The sight as I exited the front gate was just insane. The lines at the entrance gates were backed WAY back, as were the lines at the ticket booths. The entrance road had cars backed up to Carowinds Blvd. and probably on I-77. It took me awhile to get out since there's no easy way out of the bus parking lot.

And this was at about 10:45 - I can only imagine how packed that place was the rest of that day.

AHhhhhh yes Christian Music Day. An day tere was a christian concert going on the park would always be Major busy. I remember the gates being packed. Tose would be some long days.
