Hello all,
After a long break it's time to do a PTR again...
I was up at Dollywood Friday for the grand opening of the new River Battle ride and to write a little review for ThrillNetwork as well.
Anyway, I'm trying doing this a new way so hopefully you'll be able to view the photos ok.

And away we go!

Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore.

Howdy ya'll!

Yummy. But we're coming back to you later...

The new path provides great new views of the back side of Mystery Mine...oh and the new ride too.

See what I mean?

What ya'll think of my fancy duds? Oh, you thought this was a picture of a tree did you.

Singage

Aim for the one spread eagle!

Fly on a log.

Cute bears. Dollywood does everything right.

Who is that with the big body guard dude???

It's Dolly of course!

Dolly didn't want to get wet, so they had to push her out there so they wouldn't have to turn the ride on.

Just in case...

What the barges/ships look like.

Time to ride some coasters! Me and Thunderhead.
Thunderhead was downright smokin at 11:00AM!!!

Obligatory shot #1

What coaster is that?
You do get some nice new views of Tornado now with the loverly new path.

Me Heart New Path

Up she goes...I have to ask, what the heck are those awnings there for? They don't cover anybody and don't provide shade (except if you stand in one spot on the concrete).

#2 favorite Arrow looper waits inside.

I'm from the South I know, but I'm not related to this guy.

Are these grits fresh?

Put nose here.

Put hyper here.

Bench the ride has been installed.

As has the mouse door for Jerry.

Dollywood thinks of everything.

Something seems a bit off with the sign.

Scott get off the phone!

Watch out for the spitting fish. Eww!

Scott leaves Mystery Mine to go talk on the phone again.

Ahhhh! There is a ghost in the mine!

Who knew Gerstlauer knew how to build a good coaster.

Till next time M Squared.

Time for a few final rides on sweetness before we hit the road (and the storms roll in).

Thanks for reading.
