http://www.screamscape.com/html/water_parks.htm2009 - New Slide - Confirmed - (12/18/08) Wet ‘n Wild Emerald Pointe has confirmed that they are indeed adding a major new attraction for 2009 with a small teaser on their website as well as this more detailed one send out in their online newsletter. The graphics used so far on the website teaser are nearly identical to the ones used on their sister park’s teaser at Splish Splash where they are installing a Proslide Tantrum, a dark enclosed slide with a mini Toronado element in the middle. I’d expect the Emerald Pointe ride to be the same or very similar at this point. Proslide has posted video footage of a Tantrum in action here. The park will also be celebrating it’s 25th Anniversary in 2009 as well.
