I took my family to visit some of my wife's relatives this past week in Connecticut and I made a quick trip up to Six Flags New England for the day. I have never been before (and probably won't have a chance to visit again). I got to ride in the M&M tram from the parking lot.

I got into the park and made a straight line for Bizarro as I figured I would want to get multiple trips on that ride. On the way to Bizarro, I notice that they had a football field for a kicking game. What was interesting is that SF NEW ENGLAND had the Washington Redskins on the center of their field.

I got to the ride que and saw that there was a 90 min wait. As I only had roughly 5 hours to see the entire park before I had to leave I turned around and went to the Flashpass center. The Flashpass was a system that you could purchase to skip the lines. It was awesome...expensive...but awesome. If you only have 1 chance and five hours to visit a six flags park then invest the $60 in the Flashpass. It was basically a pager that cut down the line from 90 mins to 10 mins or 10 mins to 2 mins. You could also choose which ride to reserve from anywhere in the park.
Having my new Flashpass in hand, I made my way to the front of the line for Bizarro. I did not wait more that 2 trains from Bizarro all day and I got to ride it 8 times including the first seat in the first car.
Up the hill

The soundtrack and the fire were choreographed very well

Bizarro Takes the Tunnel

Then I made my way over to the floorless Batman since I literally had no line.

Here you can see the very shakey Mind Bender and a train going over the first drop on Bizarro from the front row of the station of Batman.

Here are some more shots from the second half of Bizarro

They have Scooby Doo too!

I made my way to the other side of the park
The Catapult is insane. If you enjoy hanging on for dear life upside down then this is the ride for you.

No Heart Conditions

I really enjoyed Pandemonium

I did lose my hat while on this ride and I am still waiting to see if SF mails it back to me like they said they would.

^You can also see the heavily themed rapids ride in the background.
Cyclone was a really nice classic wooden coaster

I didn't ride Flashback as I have heard that it is much worse than ours.

Wii as a carnival midway game??

2 last reflections:
It is very obvious the difference in the amount of money spent on "Theming" from Ceder Fair to Six flags.
And why did everything at SF have to be a Six Flags ______
ie. Have a six flags day. Have a six flags ride. I hope you have a six flags time. I literally heard it every sixty seconds. You could tell it was beat into the ride operators so bad it wasn't even funny.
