Time is racing as fast as lightning!-Carowinds Newsletter.
Well, it's that time of year again when the park opens up and all of us coaster geeks go nuts. As we all know, Carowinds opened this Saturday... Enough already, we already know everything. . . But this was my first time using my Flip camera for real on account that I got it around Christmas time in the off-season. I couldn't resist not to record. This is being my first ever good quality park video on you tube. I have done Cedar Point for the last few years and now that actually have a camera worth using.
Anyways, I decided to invite a friend, stuff my pockets with my wallet, camera and flip and head off to Carowinds opening day 2010! I really didn't get a whole lot of photos from the ground, but I got several on the Sky Tower. Luckily I took some photos with my phone as well..
Intimidator sure does stick out in the sky line. You can see it all the way by Carolina Place mall on 485 51!
The trains are pretty much the best experience on a roller coaster you can get. Not the best shot however.

Almost the whole ride. This shot is very similar to the webcam, but lower.
Sorry Afterburn, but you aren't the "Big Thing" anymore..
The lonely Sky coaster... I think it needs some company...
Yes... like I said most of my photos ARE from the Sky Tower.
I never realized how much room was behind Drop Zone, excuse me, Drop Tower.
And to end the photo part of the report, Vortex with its much needed painted job, and Carolina Cyclone with its new, fresh coat of awesome paint.
Now that you have looked at some of my photos, and read through my pathetic escuses for captions, you can now watch the video!

Take note that some of the video was cut off during saving, for some odd reason. It was all photage of Intimidator too.. So to make up to it, I'll be working on a new video just for Intimidator, and pretty much all the other coasters at Carowinds.
