So I ventured out to the park today for some more fun in the sun, this time without my kids so I thought I would right a quick trip report. I started the day off by riding intimidator, I am proud to say I was the first in line and in row 1 on the first train of the day. I rode 6 times in a row then I headed on over to carolina cobra. I was able to get on cobra with out waiting at all. After that I headed over to a couple ride that I NEVER ride, usually just because the lines are long and its more for kids, Golrusher and Ricochet. I havent rode either one of these for a long time, especially ricochet. Ricochet is a nice little ride but needs some padding on the bars all the way to the groud, it hurt my legs like crazy. On a positive note the trims on ricochet didnt hit until the final curve or so. After that I head over to drop tower and on the way Cyclone got stuck at the bottom of the lift hill for a while. Next was hurler. Then I headed back over to intimidator for 3 more rides. The longest I waited for intimidator today was maybe 5 min if that. The regular line was barely back to the first part of the zig zags. There were 2 rides that the 2nd trim didnt hit on intimidator today, its crazy how it hits sometimes and not others. Overall it was a nice trip to the park, but I think when the lines are as small (esp on intimidator) as they were, they should just let the queue fill up, the station was empty a lot of times when the train was pulling into the station and it caused a lot of empty seats, still the lines moved quickly and I was glad to see that in the single rider they were letting us go in after a lot of 2's would go in just to keep it movin. That was pretty much my trip today I only stayed for like 2.5hr. Didnt even go ride afterburn or t-road or anything. It was a great trip to the park!

Can you clarify what you mean here? Are you talking about doing away with assigning the rows and letting the station fill on slower days?

Glad you had a great day. It's raining in my area already, earlier than forecasted. I bet Carowinds will be getting hit with some rain soon.

Well like on a day like today, it just seemed like when you guys were trying to assin the rows, it wasnt working that well, not sure why. The lines were really empty and I saw 6 empty seats on one train one time. I think on slower days, like today, just simply filling up the lines would work better and letting single riders come in every now and then as well, maybe the 15 second drill sergent method would work!
