Ocean front Ferris Wheel for Myrtle Beach in 2011?

This would be a nice addition to the Ocean Blvd area. Family Kingdom may no longer be able to lay claim as having the tallest ferris wheel in SC. The proposed wheel would have enclosed, temperature controlled cabins that seat up to 8. It would be the largest wheel east of the Mississippi.

Thats awesome! That would be fun to ride this and see the beach and the ocean! I havent been on a ferris wheel for a LONG time, I think I have been on one... That is one thing that carowinds should have in county fair, its just not a fair without a ferris wheel. i really wish that they would re-work the whole area into more of a fair type atmosphere, or change the name to something else..

That would be a great addition. They need something now that pavilion is gone, and freestyle not open anymore.

Family Kingdom is raking in right now. It's funny like 4 years ago, no one was ever at family kingdom. Now it's the new pavilion.

Off topic here, I wonder how long it will be before all the rides from freestyle get sold off. I wonder who will buy Time Machine will go?

I have wanted that as well! I dont really see it happening though. I read on the "sun news" that they are still looking for another buyer for the park... I dont understand why they dont just sell the few rides that are there, but who knows maybe the 3rd time of selling will be the last.... I to wish we could have it or at least one of the coasters from up there. Even "maximum RPM" (or whatever its called now) would be a neat concept coaster to have because of the round lift style....
