So, me and 23 of my closest friends have just arrived home from a night in the Great Wilderness Lodge at Camp Wilderness (Saturday night). My review of the lodge:
It was great! Beautiful cabin! We had quite a few people, so we had air matresses and sleeping bags to sleep on as well as the comfy couch and futon. Loved the location and the grills as well!

Now to Carowinds itself!:

Observations:

Thunder Road was better than I remembered it. Maybe it was the retracking!
Cyclone was rough. Gave me a headache!
Vortex.. OMG. Ugh. I can't even describe... Does anyone else's legs feel tingley on it? Haha!
Lots of less rides broken than opening weekend! Almost all the rides were open all day. Only the Cobra broke down when we were in line.

Overall it was a great time and I can't wait to go again hopefully soon!
