I know I can't be the only one here, so I wanted to hear some other stories. This week I went to Busch Gardens Europe (which is an awesome park btw)on a visit with family. I'd already gone on all 4 coasters with my phone in pocket when I decided to go on Griffon again. What happened next is obvious, got on with it, got off without it. It was only an Intensity 2 so it's not like it was very expensive, but still a year left in the contract so that's a pain. At the end of the day I filled out a card at lost and found and expected nothing to come from it, but yesterday I got a call saying that they'd found it and now they're mailing it to my house. Only thing missing from it is the back, so that's $15 for a replacement. Still, pretty great. I hope some of you have better stories than that!

Lost my Centro on Nighthawk at the first CoasterStock. Thank goodness I got it back later that day, it had the only video of my son's first steps. I don't play now, I have a cheapo prepaid Verizon just for Carowinds.

In 2003 my wife got the free use of a minivan for a year. The dealer only gave us one key, so we kept it on the dealer's key chain. We spent half a day at Carowinds and were in the parking lot when I realized the key was no longer in my pocket.

We were able to narrow it down to three rides, and fortunately it was Runaway Reptar that I lost the key on. Somebody had lost their glasses and they shut down the ride to look for them. While looking for them they found my key and hadn't made it to the lost and found yet. Needless to say, my wife never lets me forget that and makes sure I do everything possible to not lose anything on a ride. (knock on wood)

I lost a phone off Nighthawk during the loop one time. It was an old LG flip phone and didnt even have a scratch. Then one time on Intimidator I had a new phone an LG Cosmos that flew right out of my pocket. No idea where on the ride it fell but I know it did not survive.....Shows how they dont make phones like they use to. New ones dont pass the roller coaster test

Well I wouldn't say that. I got my intensity back in the mail last week and other than having some dirt on it it was totally fine. Also you might want to read this. Who knows, your phone could still be alive and well. Or, not.Image
