I dont think so, i have seen police at scarowinds before but not at carowinds. carowinds has there own security force

Well, at Scarowinds they NEED more law enforcement. Seems like a lot of people and it can be a rough crowd. I always feel safe there, but I have seen people jump the fence to sneak in to Scarowinds and if you think about it, they didn't go through the metal detector I did. I'm not trying to say anything negative about Carowinds or Scarowinds either. Always felt safe there. Darkness and increased security measures just go hand-in-hand.

I used to be an associate at the park. While we did have a trained inter-police private security team, Carowinds also paid for one sworn public officer from York County, SC; as well as one from Mecklenburg Country, NC.
