I am notorious in never having any items on me that I can't fit in my pockets. I like getting on and off the rides with no hassles. I want to get one of the water bottles this year, but that will be a problem on Fury 325 unless you purchase a locker. What are the costs and how big are they? Is it big enough to hold 4 water bottles? Where do you pay? I'm a Carowinds veteran but have never considered lockers until this year. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

You know, we used them twice this week, but I didn't notice if there were two sizes. I *think* it said something about other sizes, but I can tell you that the standard size we used would likely NOT hold 4 of the bottles, unless maybe they are empty and you can lay them down. In fact, the one locker we got had a small puddle of what looked like soda on the bottom, so I'm guessing that it was stored sideways, or slantways, to fit.

As far as cost of the regular size lockers, they are $1/hour, but you HAVE to start with a 2 hour minimum. It is all done on a centralized computer screen, at which you can pay with cash or credit card. I did both, just to try them, and they worked fine. While at the screen, you pay, choose a PIN, and are assigned a locker number. You can use that PIN to get into the locker as many times as you would like during that 2 hours. Before the 2 hours is up (and the official time is printed on your receipt), you have to remove your stuff and press the "End Time" button, or you will be charged for another hour.

Thanks for the info! I don't know what people will do with larger items, such as prizes or stuffed animals. I guess if you want to ride the Fury 325, you should have a designated person to hold items for you lol. I will pass the info along to my group. Thanks again!

Ok so why can't they do $1 per hour rentals every where in the park? Doing the math, lockers were $13 season pass night, $14 Opening Day with a sign saying $15. Seems to me a person who is smart enough would use the Fury lockers for all day. Honestly they are in a more convenient location than North Gate for me as my family always eats at Wing or Chickie's & Pete's

I've seen people bypass the lockers by putting a backpack behind a tree and asking strangers to hold the stuffed animals.

I consider myself a nice guy, but I would laugh if someone asked me to hold their stuffed animal while they go stand in line for a ride.

I know those water bottles can strap to your belt, anyone wear them while on a ride? I don't know if it would be secure enough.

Last year I tried bringing my cup on TR, it ruined the ride because you're constantly worrying about it being crushed or flying out. Also what Gabed and I do with lockers is pay for all the time that we'll be at the park and split the cost 50/50.
