Just had a chance to watch the DVD time lapse video made by the park during the construction of BORG. The entire video was maybe 15 minutes or a little less. The video was taken from the Skytower. I was impressed with the starting point of the video. Starts with showing the complete excavation of the island, digging holes for the footers and then the actual rising of the supports. You could even see the snowfalls that hit the Charlotte area over the winter. It ends with showing a train making the circuit. I'm going to look into the possibility of making (legal) copies or uploading to Jonathan to use on this site. I'll keep yas posted!

PS: Please, I beg of you all, DO NOT start calling the park asking for this video. As far as I know, it is NOT available to anyone but certain employees and those involved with the construction process. The last thing they need is everyone calling up begging for copies of this. I will do what I can to get this available to those that are interested. Thanks!

No offense but...........why broadcast it because you know how some people are.........sometimes you just have to keep things to yourself......I know I have.

Why NOT broadcast it here? This IS a Carowinds forum. We all talk about Carowinds. This is the perfect place to let fellow park enthusaists know about this. My intentions are to get this video available to those who are interested.

But i feel to keep things safe you shouldnt just tell everyone you know where the gold mine is but tell them not to go to it. Knowing that the folks are gold greedy. I feel you should have just waited until you had the dvd for distribution then broadcast. Then the disclaimer wouldnt be needed.

Besides your dealing w/ kids who doesnt follow rules. Look what they do when a park announces a new attraction comming. They search the net tryin to crack codes and tape the parks system just to find out what color the station is gonna be just so they can be the first to post something............


Bottom line it was in good favor to post it, but i feel it wasnt in good taste.

Some things are better left unsaid........trust me I know

That's cool. We all have our opinions. I feel if I hadn't written the "PS" disclaimer, you probably wouldn't have even responded to this post in the first place. Sorry to offend you.
