Update: Carowinds Photos No Longer @ Wendy's

:o My family made a trip back to Wendy's this past Saturday and I noticed that all the Carowinds photos have been removed. They actually removed everything that has to do with amusement parks. Sorry peeps :(

Maybe they're changing over to a"lotto" themed Wendy's. Seems like you can't even get into that parking lot now because of all the people there for lottery tickets...

BTW, does anyone know whether the Burger King on Westinghouse Blvd. still has their Carowinds photos up? At one time they had some great photos, including one beauty of Thunder Road with the original trains. They also had one of the original horses on display from the old double-deck German carousel.

Never combine Gas Stations and fast-food restaurants especially if the gas stations sell lotto tickets :rolleyes:.

I had no idea Burger King @ Westinghouse had Carowinds photos/memorabilia (sp?).

Carowinds might have requested that they remove the photos or something. Maybe they felt it was violating some sort of copyright. I've heard they go crazy if you display media photos without crediting who and where they came from.

If they are gone for good, I'm sure they'll show up on Ebay sooner or later :)

^^ I doubt Carowinds did it. That stuff has been there since the year Drop Zone opened (9 years ago isn't it?)

So I doubt Carowinds made them take it down.

And why would they? It was free advertising.

I think they probably are remodeling, some of those pics were faded out from the sun.
