NICKELODEONâ„¢ CENTRAL FACT SHEET
Nickelodeon™ Central is the world’s largest Nickelodeon theme park area for kids. Based on characters and shows from the number one children’s entertainment brand in the world, this 15-acre Nickelodeon playground is growing to become five times larger than before and is loaded with more than 20 attractions that kids and their parents can enjoy together! The area also provides meet-and-greet opportunities where kids can rub elbows with their favorite NickToons™ celebrities, numerous eateries and several merchandise locations, including an expanded Nickelodeon Store filled with Nick apparel, games, toys and more.
FIVE NEW ATTRACTIONS FOR 2005
Phantom Flyers:
Interactive phantom vehicles allow riders of all ages to steer their course swooping up and down, weaving side to side, and gliding through the air with ghost-fighting superhero Danny Phantomâ„¢!
The Flying Dutchman’s™ Revenge:
Ahoy Mateys! Guests navigate rotating mini-pirate ships and help Patrick Starâ„¢ escape the evil pirate specter! Pivot, twist and turn a full 180 degrees while sloping up and down along the Bikini Bottom terrain.
Little Bill’s™ Cruisers:
Guests set sail with Little Bill on mini speed boats, each with its own anchor bell!
Dora the Explorer’s™ Azul™ Adventure:
Kids and parents are all aboard this four-minute ride on Azul, the train. Families join Dora™ and Boots™ the monkey on a storybook adventure. Riders encounter sights from Dora’s world while listening and watching the story unfold along their trek.
Nick Live:
An interactive family game show featuring friendly competition, loads of trivia and, in true Nickelodeon style, pies and slime!

The Backyardigansâ„¢ Swing-a-long:
A miniature swing ride for children that takes guests for a spin with the high-spirited Backyardigans.
Tommy’s™ Take Off:
Miniature "bi-planes" that dip and climb on a spinning Rugratsâ„¢ adventure. Riders can control vertical movement with joy sticks.
Nick Jr.â„¢ Jets:
With the youngest guests in mind, these space rockets rotate for an out-of-this-world ride just for kids.

Fairly Oddâ„¢ Coaster:
Take an enchanted ride and speed through five turns and two levels as Cosmoâ„¢ and Wandaâ„¢ put their zany spell on this wooden roller coaster.
Boots’ Balloon Race:
Explore the Nick play area with Boots the monkey on these swirling balloon gondolas that kids and parents can both enjoy.
Nick-O-Round:
An antique, hand-crafted wooden carousel built in 1923 and adorned with vignettes of favorite Nicktoons characters.
LazyTownâ„¢ Sporticopters:
The littlest of pilots and their parents get a panoramic view of the new Nickelodeon Central from helicopter themed cars traveling on an elevated monorail.
Hey Arnold’s™ Taxi Chase:
A big city chase through Arnold’s neighborhood ensues on this miniature, 15-foot high roller coaster with cars resembling taxi cabs and a police car.
TV Landâ„¢ Road Trip:
Kids cruise in electric ‘50s’ style Cadillacs and Corvettes on a 1,200-foot track.
The Wild Thornberrysâ„¢ River Adventure:
A splash-filled experience based on the popular Nickelodeon cartoon, The Wild Thornberrys. Seated in dugouts, brave explorers cast off for a surprise-filled excursion through the wilderness, eventually navigating their way over a 44-foot waterfall to meet explorer extraordinaire herself, 12-year-old Eliza Thornberryâ„¢.

Rugrats Runaway Reptarâ„¢:
An inverted kids’ coaster based on the popular Rugrats episode, “Runaway Reptarâ€. This coaster takes guests on a high-flying adventure in ski-lift style seats that are suspended below the coaster track. It’s non-stop, Rugrats-style action as riders race around the track and attempt to steer clear of the larger-than-life green dinosaur Reptar.
Rocket Powerâ„¢ Air Time:
A platform that swings backward and forward before completing a series of 360-degree rotations during which the rider experiences controlled free falls of 33 feet per second. Based on the hit Nickelodeon show “Rocket Powerâ€.

Newly expanded for 2005, this outlet provides everything Nick! The Nickelodeon Store is filled with Nickelodeon games, toys, gadgets, apparel and other Nick goodies.
