I just got thru with a survey for Kings Dominion asking about the 2006-2007 seasons. They asked about 10 attractions and wanted the normal feedback and asked twice to rate your top 5.

Hopefuly we are next on the list for the same survey.

They seemed to have a lot more coasters on there this time than last year for the Carowinds one.

The MTV Soundwave showed up again and Italian Job too.

Lets see Mission Impossible and Chamber of Fire seem like silly "interactive" shows. Firefall is what they're putting in for this year so our thoughts are pretty much useless at this point. Soundwave looks like some sort of FoF retheme. Nick Central is what we got in 2003, the Frisbee is what PKI got in 2003, Boomerang Bay is what PKI got in 2004. Italian Job is what PKI and PCW are getting this year.

The only ones that make me wonder are the "Top Gun Jet Coaster" which shows pics of a B&M Invert, the Spongebob Indoor coaster which looks like a Wild Mouse with themeing in a box, and Top Gun Supersonic, though it showed a picture of Stealth, is something like I've never seen before.. so I don't even know what to say about that.


I'd be willing to bet that a Boomerang Bay upgrade and Nick Central upgrade are coming within the next 4 years anyway, so I voted highly in favor of the Frisbee as giant flat rides kick ***.. hopefully they'll find their way over to Carowinds before too long..

Well, seeing how we already have a Top Gun I did not see that as a problem.

I just do not want to become a clone park. Sure, I would like to have "similar" attractions but different at the same time.

I would also like for us to get a New Tech ride before anyone else.


I just got the another email today from the Carowinds side but it is the same link and survey. Wonder if I will get one from the others? Hmmm....

Let me clear up this and say what was goin through my head when I posted that,

I did not like how they had the top gun thing on the survey because we have top gun, that part was just a waste of time. I also though that choosing between a good B&M invert and a Mad Cobra was just a bad question. It was just a "duh" Also, for some wierd reason psychologically I felt as though Top Gun might not be permanately at carowinds, even though it is a terrain track, rather silly thought now that I think about it. The did move Stealth though.

I did vote MTV soundwave the best though. Giant Frisbee was a close second.

I foresee, PKD getting Top Gun in 2006, they ain't going to relocat Top Gun, it is our signiture ride.

Wonder if PKD did get a Top Gun, would it be an inverted or maybe a flying coaster? They're already got an inverted in Volcano. Maybe a Volare themed to Top Gun?

I still think they'd retheme FOF to Soundwave.
