Screamscape is reporting a another Carowinds rumor, this one is almost as bad as the last one they were right about.

Not to be a bummer, but Screamscape is never all that reliable, particularly since there rumors are often reported by Nine Year olds who live in there own fantasy worlds.

Screamscape is occasionally reliable, but parks don't just leak information left and right.

I my self hope Screamscape is wrong but the proof is listed right there on the second link. Also They are enforced something about a Crying Policy on WWF, that they dont enforce on the other rides. I remember crying on WWF has a kid, but they never said anything then, and that was only a few years ago. I never said the park leakes information, it is the staff that leakes the information. They are told early but are told not tell. I have seen it happen, it is called having inside information. I see the point in letting things slip out, it keeps the public dreaming.

I myself would love to see Boomerang Bay. Our waterpark needs an upgrade. Just to let you know, as you already know, this may or may not be true - the 2004 season hasn't even begun yet. The park changes its plans a lot, so you never know what could happen next year, it's way too early to tell.

In the park surveys my family takes, we answered about a new theme and name to the Waterpark. I can't recall if Boomerang Bay was a choice. The park should at least spend something on a new ride since they are just receiving Stealth.

It isn't exactly 'free'. Hiring companies to take it apart, ship it across the country, re-paint it, construct it, theme it, etc... costs money.

Speaking of a coaster through space, why dosen't carowinds have a "Flight of Fear" it's a cool ride?

Yes, it is a cool ride. It is my favorite roller coaster of all time. Too bad we didn't get one of the clones. I'm hoping that Six Flags in Georgia would at least get one of the outdoor ones and come up with their own theme. I think a Matrix theming would be perfect for that ride indoors. Does WB have any affiliation with Six Flags?
